Default Electric Conversion?

Anyone tried to convert The Wolds Models Chipmunk 60 to electric?
No information seems to be available. Seems no place where to mount the ESC and can't find the appropriate motor mount.
Suggestions other than going fuel?

Pick the motor you want to use. I found when converting IC models to electric the rear motor mount on an outrunner motor worked best for me. Mount the rear mount, prop and spinner on the motor and measure from the spinner backplate to the back of the motor mount. Mount the cowl on the model and measure from the front of the cowl to the firewall. Allow an extra 1/16 to 1/8 inch for spinner clearance and subtract the motor measurement from the model measurement. That is how long you have to make the stand off for the motor. You may have room to mount the esc to the stand off or firewall where the prop blast will help cool it. Use the battery placement to set your CofG.

Just finished an old Avistar ARF for a young fellow .40 size trainer no special mods just made some stand off's to get the prop in the right place. Emax Grand Turbo 2826/05, 80 amp Hobbywing Skywalker ESC on a 12X8 APC prop hauls it vertical out of sight.

All up weight with 4S 3700 Pulse Lipo right around 6 lbs.
