I am getting a Moki 2.1 and would like to know what planes I can put this motor on. I really like the Extra 300 and Edge 540. So lets hear your suggestions. I don't plan on doing any 3D flying now, maybe later.

Dave Patrick make a nice plane, but before you spend your cash you should check this thread.

Yea, I read all that. I still ordered my Extra and received it exactly seven days later as promised. I'm very impressed with the design details of this model. Simple and effective structural details. I'll do business with DP again.
skerlock, how on earth did you get yours to weigh-in at 12.5? I'm also going the 160FX route and would like to hear any tricks you used to achieve that weight. Man, your plane must float like a feather.

ilikeplanes, getting the plane from DP doesn't seem to be a problem for most, it seems the trouble always starts when customer service or replacement parts are needed. The DP planes are very well built and designed and from my experience fly very well, but you can't get a replacement for anything. I made a cowl for a friends plane because after three months he couldn't get one. The Kangke Hurricane flies just as good and if you need a part it will ship in 24 hours, they are well know for excellent customer service and tech support.
