Just got this Graupner ship from Hobby Lobby on that closeout special they just ran. It is Really cool. The color scheme is rather drap but of course I love to paint and detail so it's like a blank canvas for me. It measures out at 63" wingspan and looks like a YS-91 or O.S. 120 would clip it along. The retracts are installed and retract outboard in semi-scale fashion.
Cowling is fiberglass and painted yellow and is great! It is all built up with Monokote-style covering, with a light sanding I already started to paint her in a splinter Camo job with high riding undersurfaces of light gray. The decals are acceptable but I just happen to have a set of MAJOR decals WW11 Luftwaffe decals for it.
I can hardly wait to have her up to Vipe out ze Mustangs!
If you had a shot at one of these and didn't take it I pity you because they claim to be DISCONTINUED!
BY THE WAY, it don't look like this out of the box, its' solid green with blue under, no detail on fuse or wings.

Here's another shot. I also fabricated the underwing air scoops and will dullcote and weather upon finishing. Will run a YS-91 to drop out of the sun on unsuspecting P-51 pilots!

Cost was $189.00 and they are sold out and this item has been discontinued. Bummer!
