I just bought a U Can Do 3 D plane 60 size and I'm placing a OS 91 FX on it. Is this a good combination and can I do 3D good? I want to be able to pull out of hovers and have extra power is the OS 91 FX a good selection of motor? Tell the the Pros and Cons of this plane and the motor.

i am on my second u can do 60. it is the funnest plane i have ever had. i have been flying for many years but just got into 3d flying. mine also has a fx91. the power is awesome. 20ft vertical takeoffs are awesome. it actually took me about five flights before i was able to hover it. my first one went in when i was in about a 20ft hover and the engine quit. (ouch)

Beef up the tail so you don't rip it off.
Use 4-40 rods for the surfaces, becasue the stock ones bend up like crazy and the plane won't trim.
AND, with a Jett Muffler on that 91 it performs much better than the stock one. I found the pull out a little sluggish, however with the Jett it was much much better.

Use either flying wires or carbon fiber on the horizontal stab. Without it, if you pull too hard on the elevator or fly it too fast, you can and will rip the tail off the plane.

Wow, I never thought about ripping the tail off, would the power from the OS 91 FX be enough to cause that?? Does anyone run this motor with the MACS muffler and does it help on the power? Is the OS 91 FX a good choice of engines?

Plus it also looks a heck of a lot better.
