I was wondering if the Ultimate Bipe handles as well as the RealFlight G2 Sim model? I've been flying for many years, but I've never flown the Ultimate Bipe. I am really impressed with it's flying characteristics on the Sim.

I have had 2 Ultimate bipes now and both have flown great. My current is the Dave Patrick Models Ultimate 40. I also gave the Real Flight G2. I can tell you that I think my DPM Ultimate 40 fly's better than the G2 Ultimate does. My DPM Ultimate 40 is more stable, at least it's less twitchy, even with the CG moved back and the controls throws turned up. I find it much easier to hover and do the few other 3D maneuvers I am capable of with my DPM compared to Real Flight.
Another issue I have with the G2 Ultimate is limited choice of power plants. I have the biggest engine I can select and it is still way under powered compared to my DPM Ultimate.
Anyways, I like the real thing better. I dream of having the Hangar 9 Ultimate. It'll probably only be a dream though since it's so expensive.
