DP Extra - What Pilot

Not the on at the controls but the one in the A/C. I tried a latex 1/4 scale pilot and it looks to small. What size pilot looks correct amd where can I get it. TIA

I have a 1/4 scale pilot in mine. I agree, it looks a little too small. The plane falls in between 1/4 and 30% so it is hard to find the right size pilot.
Here is what I did. I took a piece of balsa just wide enough to form a base. I sprayed it with the textured granit paint and clear coated it - then attached the pilot. I then glued it ON TOP of the rails for the canopy and flush with the sides. This made the pilot look more scale like. In fact, the top of his head just barely touches canopy.
The other alternative would be to try a 30%. Lots of people sell them. Check with Aircaft Intl, Cactus aviation, Carden Aricraft, etc.
