Default 2 stroke vs 4 stroke

Is it better to go for a 4 stroke or a 2 stroke if the motor is going to be installed inverted?

If the engine is going to be inverted, you are better off going with a 4 stroke. I think most would agree. Simply, less headaches.

I don't think there is any diff. as long as the tank is inline with carb there should not be a problem

I would go with a 4-stroke. Most of them can be easily tuned to run inverted without a single problem. If a 4-stroke utilizes a pump or pressurized fueling system, then tank position is not a concern. YS 4-strokes love to run inverted.
