Anybody flying this one? I just picked up one and picked up a OS Wankel engine to go with it. I figured the engine would look cool in the cowl and give the plane a more "scale" appearance. What do you think?

Somewhere out there there is a review of an electric conversion to a sportsman aviation 30 waco. Is this the ARF you are using? The author thought the plane should be sold after a few flights, way fast landings, a scary litte thing w/ weak landing gear.
I dont know if this applies to you. The wankel is a nice motor by reputation. It would be a shame to wreck it on a skittish plane. good luck

Thats the plane. Modeltech Waco 30. It is a little plane and expirience tells me it will be a bear on the ground but hopefully will fly well. Any time you have less then 20 inches betwen the front wheels and the tailwheel the plane is skittish on the ground. I guess throttle management will be paramount.
