Anyone have a clue as to what the covering is on these planes? I have asked everyone who distributes these planes,and cant seem to get a straight answer...I need to do a small wingtipo repair on a plane that was dinged in shipping....beginning to think I should have sent it back!

Yep... if you need an exact match you may have to get it directly through them. Hopefully they carry some for repairs.

I don't think its a name brand covering thats available in the U.S. its a Chinese econo type covering.

Most of their warbirds are covered in heat shrinkable solartex fabric covering, and the covering is then airbrushed with matt paint. I'm not sure about their other planes.

My PT -19 was covered in Monokote.

what kind of quality are these planes. I have a saito 120 and was wanting one of the caps or extra 300 to be vertical and not fly like a brick. Are these planes better that the aero 540 or paific aero modle ? I want it to be light but not brittle or junk !
