I bet that fly's real nice with the dl30. It's too bad Great Planes discontinued that plane just before the light weight 30cc gas engines hit the market. It probably would have sold better now than when it came out.
I actually sold mine just before lighter 28 to 30cc engines hit the market.

It does fly very well with good power from the DLE30. Using a APC 19x8 prop and standard exhaust.
Had a friend fly it who is long term experienced IMAC Flyer and Judge - He really like the way it flew tracking and aerobatics and suggested it would make an ideal IMAC practice Plane.
The new DLE35 may be even a better choice or the new DA35 scheduled to go on sale by years end.

I used to fly N9J ......then re n numbered to N9JX all the time.....the full size plane! It is down in Florida now and flying with Don Hartman in IAC competition.
