New Sig 1/4 scale Cap with RCS 1.40
I just picked up a Sig Cap 1/4 scale Cap 231EX to replace my demised 3D Freedom. I am going to put my RCS 1.40 on this plane but I want to know if I should cut a larger hole in the fire wall and put the carburetor inside the fuse. I think the RCS is too long to fit inside the cowl. I havn't measured, but it looks that way.

RE: New Sig 1/4 scale Cap with RCS 1.40
Thanks, that setup looks pretty good. I'm going to use a glass filled mount though, and I think I can get away with my setup. I need to have a muffle of some sorts at my field, I just need something to meet ama sound specs. I'm going to look for an inverted pitts muffler, but I thought about saving some money and just using my tuned exhaust manifold stack that came with the engine and just fitting a silicon tube of of that, through the airframe and out the bottom. would this setup work? how loud would it be? what kind of power loss (or gain) would I see?
