Default Saito .72 and 3D

Since my magic extra literally bit the dust I'm sitting with a saito 72. Sounds like it may be a bit underpowered for the Funtana 40... Any thoughts on what would be the best ARF to put this 72 on to do some 3D?

[8D] if you don;'t mind profiles morris makes some good ones like the top cap knife and the funtana with 30% fuel

I can't imagine the funtana being underpowered with the Saito 72. I have one on my freestyle with is about the same size and weight and the performance is out of sight.

My Funtana goes from takeoff to 3-400 ft at about 3/4 throttle with a .72 I like 'em just fine.

I can use another one if you wanna sell it

shoot. I'm flying at 5000' feet. I alway's need to over power a little up here. still cant choose between the saito 100 or the 72.
what altitude you fly at cstevec?

I live near the Chesapeake bay. Id guess aroubnd 100-150 ft above sea level. Great for flying........ bad for humidity.

And that's kinda the rub with the 72 on a funtana here at 4400'. My buddy put a OS 1.20 on and it rockets outta site and flies well. I'm just thinking that the 72 will be underpowered at our elevation.

Wow, I cant imagine an O.S. 1.20 on a Funtana!! Must weigh a ton... my Saito .72 powered Funtana feels like a pig at 5.5lbs, till my tank is half empty, then if feels good LOL. I'll bet the power at your altitude is probably equal to that of a Saito 100 at a 1107' feet like I am, just seems huge for that plane Thats what makes this hobby fun though, being a little nutzo now and then!
