Default Slimline Pilots

I know you have seen them. They have been advertising them on here for $19.99 for god only knows how long. So I called today to order one. Well, they are not going to be shipping them "for a few months". So, why advertise them?

Seems to be commonplace in the world of RC products these days. I was dead set on getting one of the Pacific Aeromodel 60/100 edge 540 models they sell. I began looking and asking about them in about June of this year. The site would either say "coming soon", or "available [insert month here]". I kept waiting, and waiting, and calling, and e-mailing, but they never showed up. I see they are available now, but it was kind of a good thing they never showed up as I ended up buying the 300 extra from Vectorflight, (had the money buring a hole in my pocket and REALLY wanted another plane), and I am definitely NOT sorry I did.

I may have still gone with the Pacific 540 if they would have just given me a more tangible idea as to when they would be in.

Oh well, live and learn.

That would be nice if they are shipping this week. I just ordered one from Slimline the other day and was told that they were not going to be available till January.
