Hi,
No jeers for the World Models T-34. Great plane. Goes together easy and fast and is quit solid in the air. I have a YS .45 in mine and it is a great combo. The only thing you would be deciding on between these two is looks. The H9 looks way better. The WM is a stand off (stand way off!) scale model of the T-34. I think the H9 is a much better representation. I can't vouch for how it flies as I don't have one, but I think you would be happy with it. I love my WM T-34 though. Most fun I have had with 130 bucks!

Charlie,
I too am trying to make the same decision. Please let me know if you find any reviews or information elsewhere.
Thanks,
Rodney

I just ordered a WM T-34.......after a month of trying to decide wich one to get.....I saw both perform.........makes it an easy choice! The WM isnt the best looking, but with the right trim/decals, it will look great!

The WM T-34 is an amazing flyer......when people see mine fly, they can't believe it. It snap rolls faster than just about anthing I have. Very solid in the air too.....it performs pattern aerobatics with grace. I agree, scale-wise, it can't compare to the H-9, but it sure does fly fantastic.

I have an Irvine .53 in my WM T-34
As stated above it is one great flying plane. It is built
strong and looks good. I have seen the Hanger 9 one and it
does appear a little more scale then the WM. I have also seen it
fly and it appeared the WM T-34 would fly circles around it.

Dude, I wouldn't worry about the retracts for the WM T-34...flys fine dirty.
I did however slit out the aeileron servo cut-out to take two so I could use flaperons
Very effective and fun to bring in at about 20 degree AOA low and slow

Here's a pic of mine. I had custom vinyl graphics cut for it. The "0425" on the tail is my youngest son's b-day
I like Bumstead's idea of 2 wing servos......this thing is already easy to fly in slow and nose high, but flaperons would even make it better! [8D]

Yuh, guess your right about retracts. That'll add 55.00 to the overall price too. I'm leaning towards the WM. Hey, glowplug, what engine is in the nose of that beauty?

Hi..
I had bought a WM T-34 (yellow) it is still in the assimbly stage.. so I didn't fly it yet (Duh! [sm=bananahead.gif]
But it looks very great, even though it doesn't look exactly like the real scale it looks greater than the H9 IMHO..
the retracts sounds coooool too

Cruz, it's an OS .46FX with an 11x5 APC prop. Perfect engine/prop combo for the plane....fast enough, but not too fast, and loads of torque. An 11x6 worked well on the plane too, but the 11x5 seems to be a better all-around match for it.
