I'm thinking about a US .40 but I don't like the blue and yellow colors. How hard is it to remove the colored pieces so I can put on my own design?
Thanks,
chris

I don't want to recover the whole thing. The base white is OK. I just want to remove the trim and add my own. Or, is the trim a part of the white covering? On my Alpha trainer, all of the details are seperately applied.

Ahh, I was thinking ULTRASPORT, not Ultra Stick. The old UltraSport .40 ARF is a good flying plane, but covered with that nasty, cheap shelf paper tye covering. That covering is printed, not applied in layers.
You're still going to have a tough time getting that yellow and blue off the H9 Ultra Stick .40. You'll probably have to remove almost all of it.

I had a "Funtana", & pulled those tackey decals & stripes (MHO) off with out much trouble.. Just be REAL careful.. You can pull the covering loose. Don't worry if some of the adhesive stays behind.. Denatured alchohol or other solvent will remove it..
