HAS ANYONE HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THESE MODELS?

I AM LOOKING FOR SOMETHING INEXPENSIVE TO PUT ON FLOATS, THEREFORE I'M AFTER SOMETHING WITH A LIGHT WING LOADING.

ANY COMMENTS / SUGGESTIONS ARE APPRECIATED.

THANKS

Pheonix models... ahhh yes

I love em.
I currently own a Pheonix Paragon, Pheonix Comet(pattern) , Pheonix Extra300s.

For the money they CANNOT be beat! If you seen my extra300 arf you would think it was a greatplanes arf. Nice Quality in all of the ones i own and they fly excellent.

I'll suggest them to anybody. They got nice covering, preinstalled surfaces which are all pinned and the hinges they use are good quality unlike the ones in the vmar arfs. I have never had any failure whatsoever with these arfs..
They are one of my favourites hands down.

now go buy one!

I got this plane for Christmas and WOW! I've got an Irvine .46 in it and while it's definitely not overpowered where I fly(1300m above sea level(that's around 3800 feet)) it flies with authority.

On low rates it will do just about everything, although loops need to be done well otherwise it will fall out, on high rates it is scary but LOADS of fun.

The plane is light, but strong and will survive a bit of abuse. I had to land it in a field next to our strip due to a deadstick on the third flight and it came out without a scratch. Same kind of landing in the same field with a VMar Spitfire ended in tears due to the landing gear tearing out...

Overall I have to say this is a very very good plane and I am having lots of fun with it.

BTW the covering is excellent, not that sticky backed stuff used on VMAR kits.
