Hi,I am in the market for a 1/3 scale ARF,.
It seems everyone has the hanger 9's and the prices get better everyday.
What I am wondering is -
Is there any big difference between the 97" cap and su31 in 97"
I love the round cowl and shape of the 31 but that color schems is just plain ugly.
The cap is very easy on the eyes in terms of colors,but the shapes of a cap arent right,just doesnt flow like an extra(bulgey cowl,and whole tail arrangement is just not pleasing to the eye).
The best prices I have found is the cap at 600.00 plus shipping,the su31 at 550.00 shipped to me.
Anyone out there flown both of these that can give opinions on any differences on flight characteristics,and any mods that should be made for longevity.

Hi Yes I have had both I had a cap with a zdz 80 24.5lbs I have been flying a sukhoi with a 3W 106 QS 26lbs they both flew good but the sukhoi didn't stall as bad I just sold the sukhoi and we are going to lighten it up for a differnt motor should fly better. Just started on a new 330S havn't decided on a motor yet going to try to keep it light. Mark,

What shop has the Sukhoi for $550 shipped?

I got mine from chiefs last week for 550 shipped, but it looks like they went up to 650...even picked up the dashboard for 10 dollars more. GREAT DEAL.
