I am looking very hard at acquiring a vector flight sukhoi 60 inch or the 66 inch extra. How is the quality, flight performance, weight etc and how does the plastic parts hold up?

It was started about the Extra, but I think people talk about the Sukhoi too. I have the Edge and LOVE IT!!!!

I have the Sukhoi. I don't think you're going to find a .60 size plane at that quality for that price. I don't mind the plastic cowl because it is forgiving. If I had to find something to complain about it is that it isn't quite to scale build wise but it flies really well. I would buy it again if something happens to this one.

I purchase the little extra when it was first out. I helped Vector FLight to improve the design and to make sure that it was robust enough to handle hard flying and harder landings. Today, this plane is one of the best in the industry. I would recommend these planes to anyone who is looking for someting to put a .90ci engine on.

Got three of their airplanes, love them all! The oldest one, a 58 inch span extra, which I believe was made in Maryland at that time, is almost 3 years old and still going strong! You can really turn the heat on with these airplanes!
