KMP / ESM AT6 TEXAN
Hi,
Has any one built one of the KMP / ESM AT6 Texans, (52 size)?
Does the kit come with retracts, if not, can retracts be fitted?
Any flying experiences to comment on?
Regards

Hi Gasser
Boy, I am shocked that No One has answered this post in this amount of time. To answer your question. Yes I have built it with great delight. The retracts do not come with it but the wing is designed for them. I installed a set of Hobbyco Mechanical retracts in the model using the HiTech low profile retract servo. The retracts only requires a little mod to the mounting flanges to shorten them by about 1/8!QUOT! or so. The model builds very light. Even when I decided to repaint and recover it, because I wanted a different paint Scheme. I also shortened the cowling bi about 3/4 of an inch and reshaped the cowl mounting ring for the correct shape. I bought a second one not too long ago to build in different colors yet. I think it is a great model. The whole mod took about one hour or less. I will try to post a few pictures for you of my finished model.
