All right. I am now looking at a Dave Patrick Ultimate 40 as my entry into the ARF world. Does anyone have one? I have a Y.S. 63 to power it. Is that going to be enough power for some fun aerobatics? Any advice/information would be appreciated.

How about that? I did get a reply to my e-mail from DP.
DLT you were close. The reply said the kits are about four weeks out. I am not shure how to interpret that. They are not shure if the puple colored Ultimate 40s are going to be part of that shipment. But you can place your order now and they will not bill your card until they ship. Hmmm.... so much for instant gratification. :stupid:

Anybody on the list yet so we can get a heads up when they are in? Looks like their website info. is a little stale...
I want the purple, but cancelled my order when I found out they were nowhere near in stock yet (and built a Pitts instead).

I put an order in for one today. I would like a blue one, but if red is all they get, it will do. We'll see where this goes. Hopefully I won't be old and gray by the time I get my Ultimate. On the other hand, I have at least four weeks to figure out how to explain another plane to my wife.

I have had one on order for about 1 year now. I can wait for them to call me and tell me it is ready to ship. I don't think you can fly a plane where I intend to tell them where to ship it. I'm am sure that UPS will not deliver there. I will never purchase another product from them again because their support is poor.
DEADMEAT,
Are you sure you sent DP an email? Things must be slow for them. Maybe he will answer one of the many I sent in the last several months. Or maybe return one of the numerous phone messages I left that have gone answered. Maybe I should contact the physic friends network to see it they can shine some light on the subject.
