this is my opinion of them . i would not buy one with my worst enemy's money . they have a problem the last i saw of not makeing it back safe on the first flite . you can't compare quality to them. great planes are not my favorite arf's. but i would take one great planes to 10 gsp.

I have a GSP.com Edge 540 103" span (bought second hand). Considering the price, the value is there. Again considering at around $650 versus $1000 and up for someone elses plane, it's not a bad deal. No, the quality is not on par with the more expensive ones, but your not paying for it either. My plane is heavier than my friends Aeroworks Edge, but I have 1/2 the money into mine than he has in his. He has a M&R 100 (6.0) twin in his, I have a Brison 95 (5.8) in mine. I have heard GSP.com's customer service stories and since I have not dealt with them, I really can't and won't say. I have no issues with my plane at the present. If you want a top notch plane at a bargain price, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a value and "The Perfect Plane" is not a requirement, then look at the GSP.com planes. Try and find someone who has one, look at it, then make your decision.

Thanks for the reply to my inquiry. Since I am over 120 miles from a hobby shop I have to rely on the ads or now from people on here. Just considering one of their kits. I have had experience with three Great Planes models. 2 arf and i kit. I am not unhappy with them but still think they could stand some improvement.
Thanks

I have the GSP Katana with a DA 100.I ordered it as an ARC so I could make changes to it where I thought it would need it for 3D.There aren't too many ARF's I would trust right out of the box.Besises,I hate factory cover jobs. They are pretty decent for what they are.I fly the crap out of this bird.I love it.It came out a little heavier than I hoped, but it still flies great.Does anything I've thrown at it so far.For the price,I think they are a really good buy.JMO.

I have read many post og GSP planes but I do not own one .The reason why is taht I never read any thing good. Poor cowl, poor customer servace , ok fit of accessorys, ect. They look goo din the pictures but the people who have them do not like them . Consider this how many websites of good planes say "may us a deal " we will consider all reasonalble offers ? Dose that sound like a company that is bursting with sales? Dont get me wrong I love a deal but I have been in sales for 18 years elevated to VP . I have never seen a "lets make a deal "ad from a company with good sales

I have just received the 4-stroke 120 size GSP P-47 Thunderbolt. Has a 71 " wingspan. I have given it a look over and just started putting it together. It may need some reinforcing in some areas but most ARFs do. The fiberglass fuselage and cowl are well done and feel light. The foam core/balsa sheeted wings are covered better than I can do. I've been in sales more than 20 years and there are a number of factors that can affect a product sales price offered by a company. You can often find good products at a bargain price. From what I've seen its a good value for $200. When I called to order, GSP told me I could look it over and they would accept it back if I wasn't satisfied. That's a pretty fair offer. I've decided to keep it. We'll see how it flies and holds up, but that's another story. I've done ARFs by World Models and Great Planes. This GSP P47 doesn't seem much different.
