Default Nutten special

Years ago one of the importers offered an ARF called Nutten Special[ 66" wingspan, around ten pounds]. I picked it up at a garage sale inomplete w/out any info. Has anyone ever put one of these together? Where is C/G ? Will .91 4 stroke be ok? Any info on control surface throws would be great. Thankyou, genek

Default Nutten Special

I agree with Mettler that the Nutten was sold by Model-Tech at the same time the Dragon-Lady and both were sold as ARC's. They are very close in size and I believe they shared many parts. My Dragon-Lady Flies very well with a OS 90 FS Surpass. It weighs 9 1/2 Lb. and has the old standard RC set-up. Four servos, one in the center of the wing for Ailerons, one each on the rudder and elevator, and one for the throttle. It has served well for almost ten years and I use it now when I want to relax a little bit from flying these twitchy little monsters like my SE and my Magic. It is a very smooth and gentle flyer. The throws mentioned by Mettler sound good to me.
