Default Engine question for Closed cowl

Two part question .1) I am useing a J-Tec pitt style muffler for the first time . It dose not have a pressure valve? So I tapped a hole, and put one in for back pressure .Is this ok ?

2) Never used a "Sullivan " or "Graet Planes " Fule plug for a cowl. Its shows two fule connections , one to the tank the other to the engine .Dose the tank connection go to the line with the clunk atachment ? I am assuming that the engine will then pull fule thru this mechanisum and into the engine

You are correct to put on the pressure tap. Jtec does not supply so that you can put wherever is needed.
As for the refueling system. Yes, the port to the tank is to the clunk hose. If you have doubt about which on is which. Put a short piece of hose on the refueling adapter. Insert into the refueler and blow. The port that has air come out of it goes to the tank. It shuts off flow to the engine carb.
Good Luck,
Twinman
