H-9 Taylor craft & Supertiger 3,000
Wondering if any one can comment on this combo, I'm going to put one together and can go with a supertiger 3000 in good shape or should I just get a BXG-1? I fly scale but would like to have plenty of extra power for fun (vertical and aerobatics) Thanks Frank

I have a T-Craft with a TT120 and it flys very well. It does run out of vertical. The all around best engine is Moki 1.35. Moki's are great engines.

Sounds like a lot of engine for that type of plane. That engine is a real stump puller, and the plane is hardly a 3D type plane. In any case good luck. I I would suggest something in a 1.2 size 4 stroke.

THere are a lot of these planes flying around with engines larger then specified by Hanger 9. I have read about US engines 25s, 35, 41 along with Quadras of the same sizes, Zenoah G-23s, G-26s and G38s, ZDZ 40s, MDS 1.48s, Moki 1.35s, Supertigre 2300s. Everyone with the larger engines seem to like them--those with the G-23 and US 25 wish they had bigger engines. Your SuperTigre 3000 would probably be right around the largest to put in, on par with the MDS 1.48 and the ZDZ 40. I would say go for it if you already have the engine.
