Tower is offering some pretty good deals right now. They have a promo where you can get $20 off an order $149 or more. It used to be that you had to spend $199.00 or more. It is good through the first so you better check it out.

Yes, they come up with this deal a couple of times a year. Two years ago, I got my Giles for $179 with this deal. I then ordered two more and sold one of the new ones for $230 NIB four months later. I have since sold the other two that had flown over 200 flights combined. Their are deals to be had there, if you can get it timed just right.

I should say so. I just purchased the Futaba 6EXA. They list it normally for $179. They had it marked down to $169, and with the $20 discount, put it at $149. $155 shipped. Also got a $20 gift certificate. That's pretty good! I'm happy.
I noticed they have the GP Firebat for $29.99, and it comes with a can style 400 motor. Price good thru the 1st.

That 6EXA is pretty nice. I built a 3D fun fly recently and didn't want to buy a new flight pack so I used my old AM Futaba. Man, going back to a conventional radio sucks. I'm going to get a new FM receiver before I crash this plane. I have to fly on 3D rates all the time and that can get hard on the nerves. Especially when I hinged all the control surfaces to have huge throws.
So yeah hopefully someone has a deal on a 4 channel Futaba receiver soon. I want to go back to my 6EXA.
