Default Seagull Extra 300 servos

I've been staring at this Seagull Extra 300 that's spread out on my workbench for a while. From my experience and the type of flying I do I can't see using 2 servos for the elevator and am even questioning the setup for the ailerons. I'm thinking a single servo with 48 oz/in of torque or better should do fine for either. Since I'm not planning on high speed or radical throws and using only a Saito .72 for power, I'm at least going to eliminate an elevator servo (unless I get a strong argument against it .)

I have a Extra 300 I fly with a 91 on it and just use 1 servo for elevators but it is a pull pull configuration.

Did you tie the two halves together or use pull/pull for both? My guess is both. . .

I have the same model and went with two servos using a non-reversing Y-harness.
