i don't know what they mean by marks. but some have been flying for a while [since they came out] at the field. no problem's with the covering leaking or comeing loose. any covering will get dirty. if you mark on it with a marker or something. but if you don't plan on drawing on it or nothing like that it will be fine.

They meant to iron down the edges of the ultracoat to seal them, the factory does not do a good job, thats on the 80 inch cub, the other problem is on the 100 inch cub. That cub has a fabric covering that is hard to keep clean.

I have the H9 Super cub. I made the mistake of not sealing the covering. The bottom of the fuselage just behind the cowel is soaked with exhaust residue. If I could do it over, I would just seal it with either dope or satin finish water based polyurethane.
