I have a 1-800 Collect that I bought around 1999 or 2000. Appears to be the same as yours in the photo. I flew it with a G-62 and had to put weight in the tail to get it to balance with the CG at 7 1/2" back from the front (at center) of the top wing. Is this the correct CG? It seems that the airplane was a hand full until I knocked the bottom wing off and it has sat in my garage for the last 13 or 14 years. Of course it may have been my skills that made it a handful. I am going to fix it up to fly so I would appreciate any advice. Will use the G-62 converted to electronic ignition so it should be a little lighter up front.
Thanks
Rod Gosling
