Hello Everyone,
I have decided to finish my Kyosho AT-6 that I started about a year ago. I had stopped because I ran into a problem with the wing that I didnt feel like dealing with at the time.
One of the aileron hinges was loose, so I went about trying to figure out why, and how I could fix it. The manual said to use CA on the hinges, so i did, not realizing that CA eats foam.
I tried to epoxy the hinge in, but it didnt work, so I ripped the whole aileron off, only to discover a large void where the CA had eaten the foam away.
Now I need to figure out how to repair this. I was thinking of using non expanding foam to fill the hole, then cutting and installing new hinges.
Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?
Thanks
Dave
