Default ARF's by HACKER - Info Please!

Anyone out there know anything about a Czech model company named "HACKER". They've got a neat looking 10 foot wingspan Decathlon available as an ARF. Other planes available as well.

Thanks

Model Aviation did a story on them a while back. They had a lot of good things to say about the owner and his wife. Seems that Sig was to be the distributor in the US. Have you found a website?

SIG has the Hacker ARF's listed on their website. I am also interested the the 118" Decathlon, but since it is not a cheap model, I would also like to know more about it before dumping the dollars. By the way, it will be cheaper to buy from their recommended "Online Local Hobby Shop" than directly from SIG. When you log onto their website you'll see what I am talking about.

Sig's prices are so high I wonder why they even bother. I know they can't sell for less than their distributors but $100+ for some of their own models is quite ridiculous.

If your're still interested. The Czech company HACKER, has a distributor in eastern Canada. Their web-site is http://www.psit.ca . From what I can gather they are carrying Hacker's full line, as well as custom graphics. Prices are listed in Canadian currency and with the US conversion they are substantially better than what SIG is charging for the same product.

Super Decathlon 1/3 scale: Giant Scale (1/3,2) High Quality Almost Ready To Fly (ARF) robust reproduction of the Bellanca Aerobatic aircraft. Features high quality, strong fiberglass fuselage, tail, engine cowl, wheel pants. Also includes an aluminium spinner and robust aluminium landing gear. Flying surfaces are hand-covered with a quality iron-on film. Requires 5 heavy-duty servos and linkages and up to 3-6 standard servos.

WINGSPAN 3000 mm / (117.9 ")
LENGTH 2180 mm / (85.7 ")
