Default What is that glue?

After making repairs and doing a few modifications to improve wing integrity of my Sig SU31 ARF, and reading a lot of other post's about ARF's, I wonder. What is the semiflexible clear glue that the Chinese builders are using. It looks like hot melt, but I do not think it is. It cuts real easy with an Xacto knife like silicone does, but it is not silicone. Any one have a clue? Whatever it is, it isn't worth a flip in my opinion.

Hi Vince, yes your correct it is NOT hot glue or craft glue. It is an epoxy-based product that does not harden untill processed.

95% of all ARFs are built this way, weather or not its woth a darn is up in the air.....Personally I don't use it for my products, but then again I charge way more than your typical ARC-ARF.

It just the standard way of doing things with mass production of airframes.
