Todd,I have both of these planes, the Cap had a 3W-80b2 but now has a 3W-75 single and it is an awesome flying plane with either,,it will do anything 3D.I am waiting on my DA-100 for the Edge to come in so I haven' flown it yet. There was a thread comparing the two of these planes here on RCU,but I don't remember which forum it was in,maybe someone else does and can direct you to it.Have you checked out the videos of the Cap @ www.downonthedeck.com pretty cool. The Edge is a little larger than the Cap but not much.I don't think you can go wrong with either one,the Edge assembly is a little more involved but not bad,and Aeroworks customer service is unsurpassed as far as I am concerened, they always answer the phone and are very friendly.good luck, let us know what you decide.

Todd, one other thing to consider is that the Cap is a limited edition plane,so parts,ie:wings cowl, stab etc., probablly won't be available for long should you need them.Aeroworks told me that all the parts from their built up kit fits the ARF,so replacements shouldn't be a problem, just food for thought.

I agree!! I had the 1/4 H-9 Cap & it flew great but it liked to land at 100mph!! Traded up to an Edge & I love it so much I now own 2. These things fly great and landings are much more enjoyable!!
