Hey guys,
I bought one of the first ones to hit the hobby stores. I didn't realize there was a big discussion over it. Mine is two weeks old, 8 flights. I give it a 10-10 so far. Not to brag, best flying P-51 of all my 19 yrs of flying. I just put it together like it is except for the servos in the tail. I went ahead and made a tray inside behind the throttle servo using good old dowel control rods. No problems so far. Saito .91 turning a 14x6 Zinger prop pulls it just right, not overpowered, not undered powered. I wouldn't put much more than a Saito 100, even a Saito .72 would pull this bird. As for areobatics, it snap rolls great, inverted flying, hammer heads, and mine will do knife edges with a little more rudder than they say, but who does a knife with a P-51 anyway, but I had to try it. Any question???? Email I will give you my phone##

Tasos66.....the Magnum 1.20 is really too large, and too heavy for the .40 size P-51....

I Have a World Models P-51 Dago Red, with an O.S. .90 in it...It's perfect size, power, ect.

Here's what it looks like in the plane...

I've had mine about a year. I am sporting an ST 90 in mine with a 12/9 APC Pattern prop. Extremely fast and smooth. I bring it right down on the deck and relaxe the sticks and it is straight as an arrow. I also run the Midget with a OS 1.08.
*WM also sells this as an ARC as you see here since I covered it like a PT 19. This was a good idea at the time. It has since been recovered, OD Green with white Underside.

If you install a 1.20 in it make sure you put more suport in the firewall, other wise you might pull the nose out of it. I just put a 60 in mine and it flies great, but then I dont like to much power in my birds Just trying to make them look real.
