I just picked up the GP Extra 300S 40 ARF and after reading many posts on this forum regarding the plane, I wonder if there could be some improvements in the planes control surfaces to improve its 3D capability. I don't desire an all out 3D plane, otherwise I would have purchased a different model, but I do feel that the control surfaces can use some possible tweaking to improve its 3D capability. I am yet to assemble the plane so now is the time for me to make any adjustments if desired.
If you currently have this plane, would you recommend increasing the size of the rudder, ailerons, or elevators?
Currently I am leaning toward increasing the rudder and possibly the ailerons sizes. What would be some of the problems associated with the modifications?
Thanks for your time and input.

I have this plane set up "stock" with an OS .46FX engine. It is very acrobatic, but not a 3D model. With the recommended control surface deflections it is responsive, but very stable. No tendencies to tip stall or snap.
I can not comment on modifying the control surfaces. FWIW the stock set up flies very close to the Extra 300S on RealFlight G2.

That is good to here. I have been flying the plane extensively in G2. The only thing I really am considering is increasing the rudder to be more responsive similar to the Cap 232 in RealFlight.
