Default The Mayhem has arrived!

I recieved the new Sig Mayhem today and everything looks very good. The hardware package is much better than most arf's. It has metal horns and a nice tailwheel assemble.

A friend of mine is going to mount the YS 110 it should be awesome with that combo. Looks like this plane is going to be a winner.

Everything I've seen so far looks realy good. The firewall needs a little epoxy, as does the landing gear mount, but I alway do that to an ARF anyway. Linkages are 4/40 and quality material. Nice to see some of the ARFs are stepping up.

You can buy one from any Sig dealer that ordered one of the first run planes. They are selling for about $210.00. If you go through Tower and use a coupon, you can knock $20.00 off. I think you can find them for $189.00 around too. Or you can buy direct from Sig or go on their web site and look at their dealer list. You probably have one in your area. This plane ought to be a blast with the Webra. I think it's the lightest 1.20 in its class!

I have one of these and all I can say is that the plane fly's fantastic. Makes you look better than you are. There is NO way to stall it on landing. I have a Saito 120 and needed to add weight in the tail. All the hardware is good quality. The only thing to watch out for when building is the centerling for the engine was not marked correctly. They did note this in the intructions but wanted to let you know just in case you have one without the adendum. I have ten flights on her so far and each one is very enjoyable. John

jucava,
There is a pretty lengthy forum on it already with a few flight reports. (link at bottom)
I did a flight report and all I can say is WOW!. Like John_RedSox stated, it makes you look better than you are. I recommend this plane to anyone looking for a larger 3D fun fly in the 120 range, I don't think you can go wrong.
