Crashed my Tower Hobbies 40 Trainer. I managed to peel that nasty self adhesive covering away from the wounds. Once I fix the damage I want to re-cover the entire plane. Any suggestions on making the old covering come off a little more easy? This stuff is a pain. Help!

IMHO, I wouldn't bother recovering.. Just patch her up, and show off her battle wonds.. You won't notice in the air, and that's where you plan to use it the most, right? Save the covering for something better later down the road..

I pulled the sticky back off a Globel Right Flyer 60 after it got dorked.
I used a heat gun to get off the first layer, then acetone to remove the glue residue.
Not a fun job but can it be done? yup! would I do it again? NO !
I think everyone should do it once, it's character building.
