Looks good...mine is grounded due to 8 inches of snow on the runway. Let us know how its maiden flight turns out.

Thanks guys! My wife asked me why I didn't have any women flying any of my planes? So I put this Asian honey in the Edge then she said she looks like a prostitute so I had her write Nympho on one side and sexy on the other side in Chinese I only got to fly her one time this morning, low ceiling with fog. She flys nice with the ST G-90 and a 14x6 prop. Takeoff was easy only needed 2 clicks of right rudder trim. A couple loops, rolls and a inverted pass. Landing was smoother then I thought it would be with my hands shaking the screws out of the transmitter a little hot but enough runway to stop in. Hope to fly again on Monday. All the wings are still on it.[sm=thumbup.gif]

Great to hear about your 1st flight report. Mine fies wonderful too. I liked it so much I bought a H9 Edge and hope to get it in the air in April or May. I few my Seagull Edge just this last November when we didnt have snow. My hands were still shacking too, but I think Its was due to the cold.

I took my pilot out and tinted the canopy to cut down on weight. Ask your wife since she lived through the first flight, does this mean shes a part of the Mile High Club.

A friend of mine at our club has one and it flies great.
It took a while to get his computer radio adjusted but now that it is, it flies great.

Taildragger, I love the G-90's, I have 2 of them and only problem I have ever had was it didn't want to come down to idle when new. It would do like a fast idle for 30 sec. or so then go to the nrmal idle speed. I changed to a perry carb but that didn't help. All it needed was broke in. Other then that mine start up fast and run great! I always take a new engine's rear plate off and wash it out then I go over every screw to make sure everything is tight. And if i have any trouble starting then I adjust both needle valves. I hear alot of problems with engines but maybe im lucky but i have O.S. 2 and 4 strokes, Thunder Tiger 2 strokes, Super Tiger 2 strokes and Magnum 4 strokes and I like them all. Some need to be adjusted a little more then the factory settings but they all run good. Check for air leaks and make sure it isnt running too rich if it stops when the heat is removed. Hope you get it working because it is a good engine.

skyking, I live in Lindsay, east of you. I just flew my seagull edge for the first time a couple of weeks ago. How did you set up the servos in the tail. Did you mount them the way to book says to, or did you arange them differently. I can't get the throw on both rear servos to be the same and so my edge seems to roll out of a loop. I ordered an in-line servo reverser and I'm waiting for that to come in the mail and see if that fixes it. Let me know what you did! Thanks.

Downside, I set everything up per instructions. When I adjusted throws I took my time and made sure they were even when centered also I did a lateral balance. Good Luck!
