I AM LOOKING AT HANGER 9 T-34 BUT BEFORE I COMMIT I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR, FROM ANYONE WHO HAS BUILT AND FLOWN ONE HAS WHAT YOUR OPINION OF THIS MODEL IS. DID YOU INSTALL RETRACTS AND WHAT DID YOU USE FOR POWER? AND ANY OTHER THINGS THAT WOULD BE HELPFUL.

Hi,

I have H9 T-34 slowly building up(well, no retract for me).
I'm done with rudder, elevator, ailerons and so far no problem.
However, I hear a lot of good things about this ARF.
There are some threads that talk about Hangar T-34, search
"H9 T-34" or "Hangar 9 T-34".
Some of them are :

Finally flew mine today - TWO THUMBS UP for this one. Flys straight and goes where you pointed it. Do NOT have retracts (yet) on mine - that would really be a nice addition.

Takeoffs were true and straight and landings can be real smooth - just don't let the airspeed get too low.

LOVE MINE....

I should have mine finished tommorrow morning (Sunday) And maybe test flight by the afternoon. If not then for sure on Monday cause im off work.

I have installed the retracts, Fit pretty good. The only problem there though is that the wheels that came with the kit seem to big and when retracted ,Hit the pushrod and won't fit fully into the wing.. The power is from a Magnum 70 4stroke. I did strengthen the firewall just to be safe. So far its going together great. I wish they had made it a 60 or + size with flaps. Hope it fly's as good as she looks. Im going to have my daughter (The Movie Maker) in our family shot the footage of the flight. It's a nice kit. So far im happy with it.
