I find myself craving a 40 size tri gear low wing plane for touch and go's and was wondering about the T-34 or even the W/M Sportster 40. I want one that will settle in real slow and smooth for touch and go's. I just recently put one of their Chipmunks together and love the quality of W/M's. I have pattern planes, quater scale planes etc. but just wanted something to have a little fun with.

I have a WM T-34 and also a WM Super Sports 40. Although the planes are very similar, I think the Super Sports 40 floats in slower on landings.

The T-34 is a very predictable airplane, has a easy to read sink rate and slows down nicely, you can almost drag the tail on the runway if you hold it off long enough. You can land it hot and once the nose wheel is in the runway it sticks like glue. They won't fly off the runway on their own, they need elevator to rotate. Fun airplane, I have 2, both with OS 46 fx engines and whistles in the wings from I4Cproducts.com
