Default Help with H9 US 120

When we tried to fly the plane we had limited movement of the elevator. It hits the spring on the tailwheel gear. I think the wire is mounted too high up in the rudder. Rather than reworking the rudder, can I cut the elevator and install two servos in the tail using a y cable? Then move the rudder servo to the tail also using the pull-pull system. Do you see any problems with this idea? I know this seems like of a lot of work and it is, but would it be better? Or would you recommed just replacing the hinges on the rudder and reworking that. It seems to be a little nose heavy anyway with the ST 3000 on it. I have a NIB G26 I'm gonna put on it this summer anyway. Will I need those controls in the rear then anyway?
