I have just recieved my Kyosho Calmato ARF- while the package is top notch, on the bottom of the wing close to the servo mount there are a number of wrinkles/bubbles. The instructions say the covering material is "monochrome film." How do I fix this . .. is monochrome film the same as monocote ? Any ideas- heatgun or iron....?

It sounds like the spell checker they used after translating the manual didn't recognize "Monokote" but knew of the word "monochrome".
Try a heat gun sparingly. If it bubbles a little, then shrinks, you can continue.

Sorry, but the Kyosho Calmato isn't covered with MonoKote. We don't know what the material is, but it IS a heat-shrink material. Be careful with the heat gun, the material is a lower-heat material than MonoKote, so you can melt holes in it if you're not careful.

Would a iron work better for this or heat gun ? I have to buy one on the way home from work---which would work better for this application ?

do you have a hair blow dryer or an iron to press clothes with? If you do use them, wait till you have a real covering project to do so you can get any covering tools.
