Default Kangke cap 60 fuel tank Problem

How you in install the stock fuel tank in the 60 size cap? The bubble of the tank hits the servo tray, so how do I get the tank into position?

Please help

Thanks
Joe

Cant you squeeze the tank slightly to get it past the bubble. Put it in at an angle and just kinda press it through, it should go. Daz...

Daz

I got it. I thought that forcing it would break the fuselage but I got it in on an angle like you recommended.

Thanks
Joe

Just a warning, but if your using the tank that comes with the arf, check it often. I was filling my cap up for a flight and saw fuel running out between the wings. Upon inspection, i found the tank had busted at the seams near the stopper.

Chris

Was it a Kangke tank?

I have lots of tanks around, what size should I use with a saito 100?

thanks
Joe

I've never had a problem with my Kangke fuel tanks, and I have 3 Kangke's with no problems. Maybe just lucky this time, Daz...

Yes, It was the Kangke tank. I'm not saying the tank is no good, I might have over tweaked the bolt from the beginning. Just keep and eye on it. Never hurts to fuel proof the tank compartment just in case it should fail.

All seamed tanks are capable of splitting if you make the plug excessively tight. I had a Dubro split in my Buker biplane.

My tank split in my GS 300 (kange)so i replaced it with a Dubro tank.A 14 oz tank would give you a pretty good flight with a saito 100.
