Kaos 60 ARF?

Yeah, the secret to the Kaos was the great wing. I built 2 Bridi Kaos'
back in the 70's and three different pattern planes with Kaos wings with different
moments, tail designs, etc and they all flew good. The thick airfoil with
a blunt leading edge made them fly at a more constant speed and slow
speed approaches were superb. The last one was lost because of battery failure
and I built the replacement with a laminar flow airfoil like on the Eyeball and it
just wasn't as good.

I was hoping Great Planes/Tower would make a 60 size; since they make the 40 size. I love my mine and just bought a 60 Killer Kaos with a O.S. 61 w/ a ultra thrust muffler. I've seen it fly and is it fast!!!! I can wait to fly it; snow is forcasted this weekend [>:].

I have a Bridi Utter Chaos kit stashed in the closet that I'll finish one day. I'm told
they fly very good also. I almost sold it and now I'm glad I didn't as Joe Bridi is out
of the kit business. I looked on his web site and he only has the 2-meter Dirty Birdi
left. Too bad.

I grabbed one of the last Utter Chaos kits from Bridi too. My Tower Kaos 60 is now 7 years old and flies like a bat out of hell with a ST G75 and a tuned pipe. Last weekend I noticed that a couple of the control horns are worn out. A little sevice is in order by now. If I ever lose that plane, man it's gonna hurt! Wish Tower still sold the kit.

Man , these are such popular airplanes I'm surprised some kit company hasn't revived them.
No telling who owns the rights to all the different versions. I think Joe Bridi sold the rights to
the original and that's why the name change from Kaos to Chaos.

Check on Ebay. I keep finding the Kaos kits for sale there. I have at least two GP versions of the 40 size in addition to a Bridi Killer Kaos and have em all stashed under the bench to be built later.
