From: st charles, MO,
I am trying to decide between a Kyosho Pitts or a GP Shoestring. I have a Kyosho Stearman N2S-1 and love it so I have the bipe angle covered but I like the Pitts too.
But then the Shoestring is just so damn sexy.
Plus both fit the requirement of being able to transport them with the wings installed.
Decisions, decisions.....
Any help from the RCU community?
Jeff

I was in the same boat as you are in now. I like the Pitts Bipe thing and I like the looks of the Shoestring. Both are awesome looking planes and get high reviews here among the RCU community. I chose the Shoestring to start with simply for same reason you like it...Looks!
I am in the process of assembling it so I don't have a realistic review for ya, but I will say that first looks are very impressive. Either way you go, you can't lose.

Jeff,
Go with the Show for sure. The pitts is cute until you have to
recover it due to the ultra cheap covering material on it.
The shoe is a far better quality plane and fly like a dream.
You can see mine with a 91 FX in the nose on my site:
