sig se and saito .91
well i got the sig se arf in purple for christmas.finaly got around to putting it together with a saito 91 i bought.the plane went together very well and i was impressed with sigs build and there parts package that comes with it.pretty complete.i do wish that the covering was a little tighter but it seems to be ultracoat which is good.i ironed all the wrinkles out but i must say that im rather a begginer on the covering and ironing so that is mostly why im dissapointed in that.but overall the best arf i have seen.i might later upgrade the linkages to dubro but will start with these.i ended up with a .91 because i was going to go with a .72 but the polls said .91 at only 1.5 oz heavyer.i have a 14x6 prop and fired it up tonight for first time and ohhh my it has some pull.i will tell in the next coming weekend how heavy and how it balnces out and i will post some pics too.yes i will take the pics before the first flight just in case.

Funny you should mention it - I just maidened one today with a Saito 91. Flew beautifully right off - no trim whatsoever. Only change I made was to replace the gear with Dubro plastic and Klett axles. Five 3001 servos, 1000mah nicd, Futaba 148 rx, APC 13x8 prop. Acrobatics easily accomplished at half throttle - unreal vertical at wide open. Lands very sweet. No regrets here!

mighty mouse.yes i think height will be an issue with the 91 and 14x6 prop so this sat im going to try to find taller gear and a new spinner the one that came with it is too small.if weather is good might try and fly this weekend.i think it will slow down fine but will let you know later

As stated, I used Dubro plastic gear. It's nearly 2" taller than stock. Drilled it to match stock mounting holes, installed Klett axles and Dubro lite 2.75s.
This plane was built before I got it, and although it had been outfitted with a motor and radio at some point I don't think it had any air time. Covering looks like it was hacked out with a dull axe, and applied with a steam press by a colorblind child. I have no idea what it weighs, but balance is dead on.
