Default Programming the JR 347 for the Ultra Stick

Hello All, I have just completed a Hanger 9 Ultra Stick .60. I have a Jr 347 that I was planning to use in this plane. I hooked everything up tonight and programmed the radio as per the instructions that came with the kit. I cannot get the crow and the flaps to operate independently. Is there something I'm missing?? or can it not be done with this radio. Also is there a way to turn the ail/flap mixing on and off? If someone has any suggestions I would be glad to hear them Thanks.

I am having the same problem with the Futaba 9C. I can get the flaps to work independantly, but not with the crow function.. Cannot figure it out.

The instruction tell me to set the model type to Glide. The radio instruction tell me that I should be able to operate them separately but it sounds like I need to use the spoiler channel which would be the throttle on this model. I am going to mess with it some more today, I would think that there should be a way to do this.

Most radios will not do crow in ACRO mode, Its a glider function. How many channels does the 347 have? I used the JR662 and had to set flaps up on the landing gear switch, and the aileron spoilers on flaps switch. To activate crow, I had to flip two switches it works great. I called two different radio companies about crow and I basically got the same answer. The ultra stik is more advance than the radio hardware available. HiTec said, there are future plans to update the spectrum radio to crow, and JR has it available on the 10X. I spent days trying to make it work on my Hitec radio, I finally gave up and got the JR 662, which required 2 switches to do crow.

Wldcwbypilot, The 347 is a older 7 channel radio. I have had it for a long time and I would hate to give it up, it still works great. While looking at the instructions I do not believe I can do it in ACRO mode. I did not have a lot of time to mess with it however, a buddy came by and we went out to the flying field. Will try more in the morning.

I got it last night. I had to go to the programmable mix functions and set it up on a switch. If I deploy the flaps with the switch in pos 0 = no crow, flaps down and switch in pos 1 = crow. Now to fly it and see how she works.
