I just got my Extra today, its nice looking but poor packaging, my fuse looks like its been crushed on one side and the cowl has 2 dime size spider cracks. Im debating on calling bisson for an exchange but I dont really want to repackage the entire plane again.
But its still a good looking plane for the price.

I thought about getting both but settled on the sukhoi because I'm a sucker for a plane with a round cowl, plus our field is loaded with giles 202's. I hope mine arrives with no damage and if it does I will send it back and demand that they ship it double boxed or give me a deal on the larger one. I had trouble with GSP on a FW-190 I ordered from them and I let UPS do the claim on the damaged plane when GSP didn't want to cover it. Other than the sale, I don't think I've ever looked at Phoenix planes before. I'm surprised that they can be that cheap and still great quality. Just goes to show you how much they make on these things, I did retail and I also did wholesale, it's easy to see the buying power of big companies and how much they can stretch their margin on ARF planes from china or taiwan.[:-]
