OK I want to try Gas.
I'm looking for an acrobatic plane like a 540 or even a scale plane like a P-40.
Anyone know a good ARF for a G-26?
I need to be able to transport it in my 2001 Mustang...Thats why Im thinking small gaser.

the problem you're going to have is wing loading. I love my G26. It has lots of power but its too heavy for a small plane. You need enough wing area to support that weight if you want a decent flying ship. i think it would work on most 120 sized airplanes but then size for your car becomes an issue.

We have a guy flying the 1.20 Lanier Edge 540 with the G-23. It is a good, cheap, fun airplane. Not a 3D monster.....but a great way to learn aerobatics. The G-26 should be even better on this bird....

Ron, the Pacific Aero Gee Bee flies well with a G26. We have a member of our club flying one and it is a very good combination. Chief Aircraft sells them for around $400.
Another one of our members put a G26 in a GSP Katana and this is another good combination. GSP sells the Katana for $199.00.
