Felix, if you've flown the Avistar sucessfully and feel confident, the 4* is a great second plane. I used an OS46FX in my Avistar and it was a great combination. I sold both when I went to my first low wing tail dragger a Ultra Stick 60.

The Avistar is an excellent airplane for an everyday flier. I used mine to get my thumbs back after winter. I turned mine into a taildragger and took out the dihedral in the wing and what a difference! Still easy to fly trainer like but with a little extra control throw and a slightly moved rearward cg it made a good aerobatic trainer. I used an old OS 40FP iron cylinder motor that had been ported for more performance. The Avistar is nice to fly stock and if you get bored it is easily modified into a fun daily flier.
