Imlooking at the super stick 40 from hanger 9 and i was wondering from any of you that have own or built this plane if you enjoyed it. It looks pretty sharp and im considering purchasing it. I want to put a super tigre 61 in it. Never too much power. Thanks for any input!!

Very fun plane. I put my old extra easy mds 40 in mine and WOW was it a blast!! I found this plane to be very aerobatic. I had a couple minor problems though....one was visibility. This plane comes white with blue and green stripes, I found it hard alot of the time to see it. try adding some other brighter colors to it. Landing, this plane likes to come in hott.....maybe thats just me but. I had mine for 3 months, until I looked away at a buddy to see what he was doing and BOOM!!! Right into the ground. Like I said, "hard to see in the air."..........

I have a Super Stick 60 with an Irvine 72. It is a great plane. Very easy to fly and land. Rolls are super fast and right on axial. My only complaint would be the shelf paper like covering. Starting to peel away at spots. I will eventually re-cover it with Monokote. I also have an Ultra Stick 40 with a OS 46FX. Lots of fun with the flaps. Nicer covering than the Super Stick.

One of the pilots at our field has the model you are interested in. He uses a .46 in it and it can be everything you want it to be from slow an easy to almost 3D. I like his so much I may buy one too. The only drawback for me is that the original was named the "Ugly Stick" and it is still ugly. I did throw together a GWS Slow Stick but balked at the maltese crosses and put WWI British roundels on it.
